Sophie Adams lives in London; studying BA Graphic Design at Kingston School of Art as well as teaching ballet to the next generation of dancers. 

Adams examines the body, detailing the connection to an environment and the relationship the form can have to a space. Through self-portraiture, playing with movement and performance, she dissects the disciplines learnt from a life-long study of ballet, questioning the restrictions placed upon the self. 

With an interest for sensitive and detailed observations, Adams' work acknowledges the spaces we inhibit - both psychically and metaphorically.
